Remembering Jill McKee

Every once in a while, you gain inspiration from a remarkable source.
Mine came through knowing a remarkable person – Jill McKee. I will forever be changed, for the better, from knowing her. Jill’s love of life was evident by the smile that greeted you. Her compassion, love and dedication to her family and friends, were never ending. A ‘genuine’ daughter, sister, wife, mother,
and friend.
      In January, 2009, we lost this dear person to breast cancer. She was a gem to so many, a heart full to the brim, a soul that will not be forgotten.

Braz for the Cause…you can help!

While struggling through her illness, Jill devoted much of her time to ‘Braz for the Cause’. This organization’s mission is to make a difference by providing short-term financial aid for those undergoing breast cancer treatment. This includes, but is not limited to: child-care, anti-pain and nausea medication, taxi fares, parking, wigs, prostheses and palliative care. Anything that improves the quality of life of the individual is given consideration.

“Among Jill’s many loves in life was her love of music. Combined with her pure talent and compassionate nature, Jill recorded a very special song that allowed her to express herself. We invite you to make a $2.00 donation and receive her song. The entire proceeds will go to ‘Braz for the Cause’.”

Purchase our Pink Ribbon Bottle and for every bottle sold, $2.00 will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society in support of Breast Cancer Research. Plus, another $2.00 per bottle goes to 'Braz for the Cause'.

We would like to help carry on Jill’s crusade to aid these women. With the arrival of our new 12 Hour Shift Bag, we have included a Pink Ribbon Pattern. For every bag sold, $5.00 will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society in support of Breast Cancer Research.
